Sex in advertisements
http://www.planetshoes.com/mmplanet/brands/reebok/banner.jpg
This (above) ad is an ad for shoes, to be more precise Reebok shoes. It is most probably aimed for audiences of 16 - 30 and of all cultures, it is also a both gender add considering there are pink shoes in the add but a naked woman in the background. This commercial is about shoes but it doesn't become clear until you think about it for awhile. It is the physical attraction which they have implemented in this ad. I would say that there is nothing wrong with using sex in this way as they have in this commercial.

Believe me or not but this is a commercial for coffee and as it appear they are swimming in coffee beans. Target audience is people with a fetish for coffee beans or/and are middle age most probably of the inner city culture (stressful culture) and it is aimed towards both genders. Even though they made an advertisement for coffee that doesn't become clear until you really look at what they are swimmin in or know what the brand "Lavazza" sells. To me the message was really unclear and I still don't really understand what they are trying to say though what is clear is that they have implented physical attraction in this ad, especially for those with a coffee bean fetish.
1+2: They are throwing themselves against one another.
3: They are both in the foreground.
5: They have put the man slightly higher as if looking down on the woman.
6: Yes, they are swimming in a sea of coffee beans.
7: Both are active.
9: No, they are both eroticized.
11: The man.
12: It is not either, it's quite neutral.

Full body wash soap is being sold in this ad. This ad is aimed towards people in their late teens to middle age and of all cultures, but this ad is also directed towards male viewers. The fact that this commercial is for a full body was soap is not obvious but it is not either hard to see. I don't agree with this message, why get dirty just to use that soap? Yet again as with all the ads it is using physical attraction to draw attention.
